11/30 – 12/23 A Christmas Carol

Hanesbrands Theatre

Bah humbug! It’s everyone’s favorite miserable miser, Ebeneezer Scrooge and the holiday spirits that guide him to the true meaning of Christmas. There’s plenty of chances to catch this classic. Find Tickets.

12/7–12/23 An Old Salem Christmas Carol

If you just can’t get enough of A Christmas Carol, check out the world premiere of this adaptation written exclusively for the Little Theatre of Winston-Salem!

The story: A passing stranger is welcomed into Salem Tavern by a cheerful group celebrating Christmas Eve. The story he tells them is magical, and yet vaguely familiar… It’s 1887, and hard times have fallen on the people of Winston and nearby Salem. Tobacco rolling machines are replacing manual jobs, and bad rains have hurt farms.  Making things worse is Ebeneezer Scrooge, a lender who’s foreclosing on mortgages and ruining the holidays for everyone. In the heart of Old Salem, can three spirits help him change his ways?

12/20 A Christmas Story

The Carolina Theatre, Greensboro

1 pm & 7 pm

If you’ll be missing the annual 24-hour marathon of A Christmas Story on TBS (or even if you’re just looking for an extra shot of Aunt Clara’s bunny pajamas), you can catch this Christmas classic at the Carolina Theatre!

Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for students, teachers, seniors, & military
